Server Migration from Netherlands to Allentown, Pennsylvania & Price Changes

We are excited to announce a significant upgrade to our server infrastructure! As part of our ongoing commitment to provide you with the best hosting experience, we will be relocating our servers from our current location in the Netherlands to a new state-of-the-art data center in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Key Details:

  • Migration Date: Mid-June 2024
  • New Location: Allentown, Pennsylvania, USA
  • Reason for Move: This move will enhance our server performance, provide better DDoS protection, and ensure improved overall reliability and speed for our customers.
  • Expected Downtime: We anticipate downtime will only last as long as it takes to move IPs and have them update. We aim to keep this period as brief as possible to minimize disruption to your services.
  • Billing Plans and Pricing Changes: With this migration, our billing plans and pricing will also be updated:
    • Budget Plans: Hosted on Xeon E5-2699v4 machines with DDR4 RAM
    • Premium Plans: Hosted on Ryzen 9 7950X machines with DDR5 RAM
    Further details on these new plans and pricing will be provided soon. We believe these changes will offer more flexibility and better performance options for our customers.

What You Need to Know:

  1. Preparation: We are taking every precaution to ensure a seamless transition. You do not need to take any action at this time.
  2. Backups: We will be taking backups of all servers before the migration, so you do not need to worry about data loss or take any additional steps to prepare.
